EST 2014 | The Ultimate Angelina Jolie Fansite

Several articles online right now on this matter and even if I try not to post gossip and such but this is interesting because Angelina and Brad are now selling olive oil and will soon sell rosé wine. Would love to try their products but something tells me it’s not in my price class 😉

With hundreds of historic acres and well-received wines, it was only a matter of time before Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s French estate, Chateau Miraval—which they’ve kept despite their impending divorce—derived another agricultural product line.

Well, now the wait is over. Developed in partnership with the Perrin Family, the estate‘s own gourmet olive oil has been quietly available in France since early this month—but only in two small family-run boutiques (in Aix-en-Provence and Chateauneuf du Pape) and one website.

Though produced “in a very small amount” and currently limited to European delivery, a spokesman for the partnership tells People plans call for it to be “available in the U.S. in a very few weeks.” It may still difficult to find, though: The first release was limited to just 10,000 bottles.

The extra-virgin oil is a high-quality and cold-pressed, a blend of seven organically grown variety types (Verdale, Pichouline, Tanche, Lucques, Aglandau, Cayon, Arboussane). While Miraval stretches over 1,100 acres, only 26 acres are employed in terraced olive grove production, according to vintner Charles Perrin. The finished product is described a “velvety oil with notes of almonds and hazelnut, pungent and spicy with a scent of fresh cut grass.”

Release of the oil confirms the couple’s continuing commitment to the estate, Perrin told Agence France Presse. Continuing rumors concerning the imminent sale of the estate, which the bought in 2008, “are false,” he said, declaring that Miraval “is an investment for their family and their children. We have long-term projects and have just released the latest vintage of rosé with our names: ‘bottled by Pitt, Jolie and Perrin’ on it.”

This year’s pressing is the first of what is planned to be a continuing product line with limited bottlings made from each subsequent estate harvest, a company source tells PEOPLE.

Distinctively packaged in a black sandstone bottle (to protect its quality from sunlight), Miraval Provence is currently shown online as available only in 3-pack units at approximately $30 per bottle.

The lovely actress Gillian Anderson speaks fondly about Angelina and that Angelina did something really important for women to change the stigma surrounding menopause and the risk with breast cancer for women.

Can’t do anything but agreeing with Ms. Anderson!

Anderson says the lack of clear information is one of the biggest problems surrounding perimenopause and the mental health symptoms — “like anxiety, depression, mood swings, hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue” — that follow.

“How wonderful would it be if we could get to a place where we are able to have these conversations openly and without shame,” she says. “Admit, freely, that this is what’s going on. So we don’t feel like we’re going mad or insane or alone in any of the symptoms we are having.”

Anderson credits Angelina Jolie for working to change the stigma when she spoke openly about her menopause.

“When Angelina Jolie made the very, very courageous decision to have both her breasts and her ovaries removed because of genetically being at risk for breast and ovarian cancer, many of the comments (aside from admiration for her decision to go public with a very private matter) were around the concern that it might throw her into early menopause,” Anderson recalls.

Some random news about some land and a hideaway that Angelina has bought. You can read the whole article and see photos at The Daily Mail.

This is the stunning secret hideaway Angelina Jolie is planning to buy – to expand the jungle paradise she bought from a Khmer Rouge commander accused of mass murder.

Pictured for the first time, Ms Jolie’s remote idyll in northeast Cambodia features tranquil jungle oases and beautiful plant species but its beauty hides a dark past.

The 7.5 hectare tract of land, which doubles as a compound for her charity MJP Foundation, was bought in 2002 from Ta Tith, an ex regime official formally charged in 2015 with committing genocide during the ‘Killing Fields’ reign of terror.

MailOnline can reveal that the 41-year-old took time out from promoting her new film about Cambodia’s horrific genocide forty years ago to ask representatives to offer £32,000 for the land next door, which is owned by a former Khmer Rouge soldier.

Rieng Cheat, who served under Ta Tith and called him ‘a good man’, gave a tour of the property and said: ‘I am happy we are selling to this famous lady. We see Angelina whenever she visits and she is always very friendly.’

“You start with crickets and a beer, and you then you kind of move up to tarantulas,” Angelina Jolie casually told BBC News during a recent appearance in Cambodia. While parts of the interview have already made the rounds, specifically Jolie’s quotes about her divorce from Brad Pitt, the newly released segment shows the actress, director, and humanitarian enjoying a unique activity with her children.

For the BBC interview, Jolie and twins Knox and Vivienne removed the fangs from tarantulas and fried them up with scorpions and other bugs to make a meal. “How do you flip a scorpion?” Jolie joked.

Knox seemed less than enthused about the dish. “It’s like dry chips; like flavorless chips,” he remarked after having some.

In the video I posted yesterday Angelina mentions the divorce and she handles it with grace as usual, even though you can hear that it’s obviously a sensitive subject. This clip above is just a short one and if you want to view the first one go to the previous post on this site.

This news is all over the internet today and that’s why I bring it up as well. I hope the whole family are ok and they will get to handle this privately in the future, if that is their wish.

“I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and…and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it.”

An extract from a recent interview by The Telegraph (UK) with Angies ex husband Jonny Lee Miller where he mentions her and that they are still friends.

“That” is presumably the Miller-Jolie coupling, about which little is known, aside from the fact that they met on the set of the 1995 film Hackers, and that for their wedding the following March, Jolie wore a white shirt of Miller’s with his name scrawled on it in blood – 18 months later, they were divorced.

Wasn’t the hoo-hah surrounding their relationship just as big a deal? “Well, there wasn’t one, because we were both completely unknown. Angie wasn’t…it was pre all that.”

So they were able to have a normal relationship without the pressures she’s faced since? “Oh, yes,” Miller replies.

Does he keep in touch with her? “Yeah – we’re still friends,” he nods, and before I’m able to ask whether he’s spoken to the actress since the breakdown of her third marriage, to Brad Pitt, he throws me a small smile that says: “That’s all you’re getting.”

Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.

Jolie’s attorney, Robert Offer, confirmed the news to the Associated Press that she had filed for divorce “for the health of the family.”

According to court documents first obtained by TMZ, she filed legal documents on Monday morning, requesting joint legal custody of their six children — she would have physical custody of the children and would grants him visitation. The legal grounds for divorce are listed as “irreconcilable differences.”

Jolie is claiming jewelry and other personal items as well as earnings from and after the date of separation, which is marked in the court documents as Sept. 15.

Pitt released a statement confirming the news and asked for privacy for his children on Tuesday morning.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time,” Pitt said in a statement to People.

Jolie and Pitt recently co-starred in the film “By the Sea,” which opened the AFI Film Festival in 2015. Jolie wrote and directed the film about a couple trying to repair their marriage.

Netflix will premiere the true-life Khmer Rouge drama she directed, “First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers,” later this year.

Jolie’s recent acting credits include “Kung Fu Panda 3” and “Maleficent.” She also directed the film “Unbroken” in 2014.

Pitt recently starred in the 2015 film “The Big Short” which he also helped produce. Pitt’s upcoming projects include the the Robert Zemeckis film “Allied” co-starring Marion Cotillard, a satire about the war in Afghanistan called “War Machine” and a sequel to “World War Z.”

Jolie recently passed on Kenneth Branagh’s remake of “Murder on the Orient Express.” A sequel to “Maleficent” with Jolie attached has been announced, but hasn’t gone into production.

The couple has been together since 2004 and were married in August, 2014.

Angelina Jolie has been made an honorary dame by the Queen for her campaigning work fighting sexual violence and brought her family to meet the monarch.

The actor was presented with the award’s insignia during a private Buckingham Palace audience with the Queen and then was joined by her husband, actor Brad Pitt, and their six children.

Jolie was recognised in the honours list and received the honorary damehood for services to UK foreign policy and the campaign to end warzone sexual violence.

The celebrity is known for her Oscar-winning role in Girl Interrupted and blockbuster movies such as Tomb Raider and Mr & Mrs Smith – but running parallel to a successful movie career is her campaigning work as a humanitarian.

The 39-year-old actor has been described by US Secretary of State John Kerry as a “fierce and fearless advocate” and he said her dedication to campaigning could overtake her film roles as her lasting legacy.

The award was first announced in June when Jolie was co-chairing the End Sexual Violence in Conflict (ESVC) global summit in London with then foreign secretary William Hague.

Jolie said at the time: “To receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to.

“Working on the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative and with survivors of rape is an honour in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine.”

After the presentation took place in the palace’s 1844 room, Pitt and the couple’s six children met the Queen.

As an American citizen the actress cannot become a Dame, but can use the initials of the award after her name.

Honorary damehoods and knighthoods are conferred by the Queen, on the advice of the foreign secretary, on those who have made an important contribution to relations between their country and Britain.

Hello everyone, I was going to skip the wedding madness, but I couldn’t avoid this one! Here’s a first look at Angelina’s wedding dress from People Magazine:

When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went about planning their big day, they didn’t have to look far to find the perfect wedding planners: their six children.

The intimate Aug. 23 ceremony – attended by just 20 friends and family members – was held in the chapel of Château Miraval, the family’s estate in the French village of Correns. The wedding – including exclusive photos of the ceremony, Jolie’s unique dress (decorated with her children’s artwork!) and the entire family’s celebration – is featured in this week’s issue of PEOPLE, in conjunction with Hello! magazine internationally.

Each child had a key role to play: Eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mom down the aisle; flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also helped write their parents’ vows. And Pax baked the cake!

“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, tell PEOPLE. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

Even Jolie’s dress was an expression of her kids’ creativity: Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed dozens of designs from her children’s drawings into the dress and veil.

“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” says Jolie. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”

Pitt wore a suit from his closet – with a tie borrowed from one of his sons because Pitt forgot to pack his. Zahara’s dress was designed by family friend Adama Kebe. Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, and Knox wore black suits (Shiloh’s included shorts and a top hat), and Vivienne wore a white dress from her closet. Jeweler Robert Procop, who designed Jolie’s engagement ring, created the couple’s wedding bands.
